San Diego: Day 2

Angl maxi dress, Love Culture cardigan, Forever 21 earrings, bangles, ring

This dress is not new, but every time I wear it, I dress it up differently, so it feels new each time. This time I opted for a black cardigan with simple jewelry and a fedora. My roommate and friend, Himika also let me borrow her gorgeous purse, which I think completes this outfit perfectly! Thanks, Himika :)

We started our second day in San Diego with a delicious and filling brunch at The Mission. The beautiful presentation and huge portions were perfect to last us--well, most of us--all day. I ate ice cream later, as you can see. Like I said before, when am I not hungry? When we got to the ice cream shop, I realized I had been there several years ago. It was the strangest feeling but brought back many happy memories, and I'm glad we made the spontaneous ice cream run. Sometimes all you need is a little something sweet to trigger long lost memories.

San Diego: Day 1

Forever 21 striped shirt and trench coat, Target white skinnies, Charlotte Russe fedora, Michael Kors tote and watch

Last weekend, my friends and I made a trip down to San Diego for the weekend. With good friends, delicious food, and barely any sleep, it was such a fun way to start off our long-awaited spring break. Since I knew we would be in the car and walking around a lot, I opted for a comfortable and classic outfit for the day. There is something about stripes and a trench coat that give off an effortlessly chic vibe. Plus this black tote is the perfect size for carrying some snacks and a water bottle for the drive and an extra pair of shoes for exploring the cliffs.

The first thing we did was eat, of course. We headed down to Old Town San Diego to Cafe Coyote and enjoyed some authentic Mexican food. As you can see below, I clearly was hungry. (But real talk, when am I not hungry?) After that we headed up to the cliffs to enjoy a peaceful moment with the sunset and take fun group pictures. It was a gorgeous view, and I can't wait to come back again soon!

Keep a look out for pictures from day 2!
