Let me tell you, I have been waiting for an entire week for my new Jessica Simpson ankle boots to come in the mail. Well, more like obsessively checking the mail, but what's the difference, right? Of course, when they finally did arrive, I was in workout clothes, leaving to go to the gym, so I had to wait an entire extra hour to actually try them on. But as they say, good things come to those who wait, and these are now my new favorite shoes. 

They might (ok, definitely) need to be broken in--as in I can't walk more than 5 feet in the 4 inch heels without changing into flats. But, they still add the perfect amount of chic to your typical jeans-and-a-tshirt look.

Pink and White

I know, I know, I've been gone for more than 3 weeks! February has just been an extremely busy month. But I promise, I didn't forget about you guys--and I hope you didn't forget about me, either! I wore this outfit on Valentine's day, if you couldn't tell by the pink pants and necklace. I rocked my bright pink and white ensemble with confidence, even if everyone around me thought I looked like a cheesy greeting card. What can I say, I like to be festive.

On another note, at least 4 people have asked me if my bag is a Céline . As much as I wish I could say yes, I'm flattered that my new black and white Target--yes, you read that right--tote can be mistaken for a Céline. It's currently my new favorite bag, and, spoiler alert, you will be seeing it again soon in future posts!
